Sermon for the 31st Sunday in Ordinary Time 2016

Sermon for the 31st Sunday in Ordinary Time 2016

This Sunday's Gospel tells the story of the tax collector Zacchaeus who climbs a tree to see Jesus as He passes through town. Fr. Ryan's sermon focuses on the way in which God calls us repentance "little by little" as the Book of Wisdom says to preapre us so that we are ready to respond when Jesus looks at each of us and says "tonight I must dine at your home."

This sermon was delivered at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church in Tallulah, La on Sunday, October 31, 2016.
